Meet PaulHello, I’m Paul Corderman and I was born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland. I grew up in the same neighborhood that I reside in today; living on the very same street that I got up early to ride my bike and deliver newspapers’ on. I graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1995 and went on to graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park. After serving on the Hagerstown City Council and in the Maryland House of Delegates, I was recently afforded the opportunity to be appointed and serve in the Maryland State Senate in September of 2020. Representing the citizens of our County in Annapolis is not a responsibility I take lightly, as public service begins with putting the needs and concerns of others before your own.
I am passionate about and committed to helping Washington County identify and make the most of the opportunities that are ahead of us. We are a viable community with many possibilities for growth and expansion. We can create even more sustainability for our economy by working together and building upon the great character and history we already have in place. I believe we have a number of issues that must be addressed in order to strengthen our community and move us forward towards growth and prosperity. I look forward to meeting you, my fellow residents, business owners, and community leaders to understand your needs, concerns, and hopes for our County. As a member of the Maryland State Senate, my role will be voicing and championing what’s important to you. I believe in the future of our Washington County and truly feel that together, we're better!
